About Us

Dr. Marudupandian received his MBBS from University of Madras in 1991, and proceeded to receive his Diploma in Diabetology, and Certification in Endocrinology. He started his career as a Medical Consultant in various corporate hospitals like Vijaya Hospital, Malar Hospital, and SRMC. He is the Founder and Managing Director of PonMalligai Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. He established PonMalligai Hospital by the year 1999, and by 2009, it developed into PonMalligai Pvt. Ltd. By 2014, PonMalligai Diagnostic (Hitech) Centre was established in Adambakkam, and by 2016, he opened a Hitech OT/ICU and now it is expanded to a 50-bed hospital. He has been treating 20,000 patients every year at an affordable cost, be it minor treatments or complicated medical concerns. He is committed to use his training and skills to provide quality healthcare to those in need. He has been honored with several awards including “Pothu Nala Chemmal” by the Deiviga Iyal Isac Mandram for his social commitment. He is also the Founder and Management Trustee of PonMalligai Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust, which is now helping hundreds of lives.
